Truth is unique for each of us, tempered by our experience and growth. The facts are of course important, but the truth of the throat chakra is much more than this. It has integrity, depth, and power and is a synthesis of all that we’ve learned so far on our journey. It is enriched by the intuition, wisdom, clarity and understanding of the higher chakras as we now express them to the world. Our truth, then, contains our vision, our dreams, our hopes, our knowings, the results of the exploration of our thoughts and the deliberation of our hearts and minds. It is our highest integrity, and may differ from that of anyone else….

So the throat chakra calls us to get in step with our truth and have the courage to stand by it whatever the opinions of others. But we must remember to update the truth. The throat chakra requires me to have the courage to renew the truth and if necessary admit that however passionately I held a certain view a while ago, I now hold another. This ability also gives me the compassion and understanding to accept that since we’re all at different points in our evolution, we’re at different point in the development of our understanding of the universal truth. So, differences of opinion and passionately held views can be supported and accommodated when seen as a product of time and process. As long as we responsibly share our own truth and willing to hear that of other people, then there is ongoing evolution throughout the universe. This prompts us to hold the truth lightly and with flexibility, being willing to look at new facts and concepts in order to incorporate them into our lives.
